The old man and sea was published in 1952.to wide critical academic. it had been twelve years since Ernest Hemingway’s previous critical success the old man and sea was a popular success selling 5.3 million copies within two days at its publication in a special edition at life man nine Hemingway was a warded the Nobel prize for literature the old man and sea is generally considered by many to be his crowing achievement. Hemingway committed suicide on July 2, 1961. He is remembered as one of the great stylistic innovators of modem American literature
Concept  are the fundamental and often universal ideas explored in a literary work.
Hemingway´s story falls in to three main parts. the first part entails getting ready for the fishing trip then the trip out , including catching the fish and being towards it the first two days and part of last and finally trip back and other way  to dividing and analyzing the all story in by using a dramatic story and the story or rising action the reader are presented with various compilations of the conflict between the other fishermen’s belief that Santiago is permanently unlucky and Santiago and the boy’s belief that the old man will still catch a fish the some of the other villagers, like the resonant owner predict help Santiago, while other avoid him the end of the story when Santiago kills the fish marks the point at which the hero’s fortunes   being to take a turn for the  wars Santiago having no effective weapons left to fight the sharks must watch helplessly as they strip the caress of all its remainingment .short story writers Hemingway has added to ending what James Joyce called an epiphany. Or revelation of Santiago’s three character that moment comes when the writers implicatitly contrasts the tourist’s ignorance of the true identity of the marling”s skeleton to Santiago’s quite knowledge of his skill and his hope refection in his repeated dreams of the lion on the beaten that he will fish successfully again .all over story in really human condition in life.
